Out of the box, the G40 is a good looking car and certainly has more potential than a lot of people realise. It is however afflicted with rather too many stripes, badges and stickers. However a morning spent pulling off anything that's not needed works an absolute treat. The single biggest difference is made by removing the red stripe which runs around the bumpers and along the rubbing strip. In addition to these mods, the car has also been fitted with clear indicators and repeaters, and late-spec half-tinted rear light clusters, the combination of which knocks years off the car.
